All products; carts, discs, consoles, and accessories are sent with signed for registered post. We do not ship to PO BOX’s.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”What shipping methods do you offer?”]We offer standard international economy, air parcel shipping, via Royal Mail postal services. Upon arrival in your country, the item will be delivered via your local postal service. If you require tracked postage you can contact us directly before placing your order, so this can be arranged at cost.

Typically it takes up to 2 business weeks to receive the shipment depending on your country’s local postal service and customs department, and in some cases up to 21 business days to arrive at your destination.

Note: All shipping times are for reference only. In exceptional cases, longer shipping times may apply and shipments may be delayed by your local customs office. Retrobit Game cannot guarantee the shipping times listed as they are under 3rd party control (the mail services and customs offices).[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Do I have to pay any tax or customs duty fees?”]Retrobit Game does not apply any Duties, TAX, VAT or GST to any orders.

Therefore customers may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches the customers country. Any additional charges applied by the customers country customs office for clearance is the sole responsibility of the customer.  Retrobit Game has no control over those charges and does not know if, or when they might be added by the customer’s local customs office to a shipment.

Customs policies vary widely from country to country and customers are advised to contact their local customs office or check their website for more information. Additionally, when ordering from Retrobitgame.com, the customer is considered the importer on record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which they are receiving the goods.

Your privacy is important to us, and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers and to be aware that some cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

Also, we may provide certain order, shipment and product information, to our shipping carriers and such information may be communicated by the carriers (postal services) to customs authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.

Submission of Customs Information Is A Must for Mail items Sent to the United States of America.

According to the requirement of the Government of the United States of America (USA), all mail items, except Small and Large letters, sent to the USA* must contain customs information at the time of posting as from 1 June 2019. The mail items which do not contain customs information will not be posted to the USA*. Items without the customs information will be returned or destroyed by USA customs services.

The key purpose of requiring the customs data by the destination customs authority is to facilitate the customs clearance process. For enquiries on the tax/duties imposed at the destination, please contact the destination customs authority.

We do not do any transactions on our website and we do not see, store or retain any of your financial information or payment data other than a record of your payment after the transaction is successfully completed.

With PayPal Your information is secured.
When you pay with PayPal, your financial information is never shared with the seller (that’s us), and you can pay using only your email address and password. If you forget your login, you can recover it by yourself or contact PayPal if you need help.

Paying with Stripe – Your credit card information is sent directly to Stripe, ensuring sensitive data never hits our servers.

Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. To accomplish this, we make use of best-in-class security tools and practices to maintain a high level of security at Stripe. More information.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Shipping items with batteries, battery backup and saving on carts”]Many older catridge based games such as Super Famicom, Super Nintendo (SNES) and N64, allow saving game data directly to the cart.  This is possible becuase the game cartridge has a backup battery inside, (Lithium Ion Battery).  When the battery runs out, the saving function won’t work any more.

If you have third party console like Cybergadget’s Retro freak, you can play and save without using backup battery. So it doesn’t matter if the backup battery is dead or not. However, if you only have the original console, then having backup battery is very important to play and enjoy the game.

We do not guarantee the function of the backup battery since those games can be very old, from the 80s-90s,. However replacing backup battery is pretty easy and very cheap to do.

Also please note that some countries prohibit the sending/recipt of items with batteries, so in some cases we may have to remove the backup battery from cartridges to allow sending of such items. If such method is required we will always inform the customer with the item that is shipped.[/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”I have a problem with one of the items I have received, can I return it? (Buyer Protection)”]All carts, discs, consoles, and accessories we send out are cleaned, tested and 100% fully working before we ship. We carefully inspect, photograph and document all our products during the testing process to ensure the products are genuine, safe and fully working as expected.

95% of the products we supply are preowned/used, and obviously being retro/classic items from the 80’s-90’s have had some wear and tear in their lifetime, whilst we endeavor to only provide the best quality pre-owned products, some items do have scuffs, scratches, torn, ripped, scribled, written on, stickers, glue, dirt, dust, peeling labels, dents, markings, cracks, blemishes or minor superficial damage, rust spots, water damage, missing manuals, missing boxes, broken or cracked covers, smashed, cracked or broken jewel cases (CD/DVD Cases).

30 Day Returns on All Products
We do not take responsibility for any excessive damage caused in transit by the postal or shipping company or after you have received the products
If you genuinely believe you have a non-functioning item contact us within 30 days and we will be happy to replace or refund the product.

180 Days Buyer Protection: order with peace of mind
All replacement requests are on a case by case basis and at our sole discretion, but we will always do our best to help out 🙂. We will not entertain any requests for over 30 days. However all items purchased with PayPal entitle the buyer to 180 days full buyer protection, which we comply with so you can order with peace of mind.

Any returns we receive are shipped back at the buyer’s cost.

To eliminate fraud we do record all serial numbers, unique identifiers and photograph all our items.
